[The Assumption Song]

Funny, but wrong credits

Firstly, a note to everyone reading the reviews. I haven't actually read the reviews so don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but:

THIS SONG IS NOT BY THE ARROGANT WORMS
NOR IS IT BY THE ANIMATOR OF THIS FLASH.

This is stated on their website as "Other songs we never wrote" which includes The Assumption Song, also known as The Farmer's Daughter, by Vito Petroccitto Jr. (see The Arrogant Worm's site under Discography, as well as Vito's site under Store)

Now that I have that out of the way, to my review:
As for the animation, it was good but we've all seen better, but it worked great with the song (especially the suggestive parts) so I give you a 3 / 5. To be quite honest, this is very overrated mostly due to the song and people thinking it was the animator who wrote and/or performed it (at least, that's my guess as to what people are thinking).

I think this would have been better if it had a more solid animated feel to it. i.e., lots of colours. There are movies that work well as simple line FBF drawings, but this is not one of them (though it does work to an extent, just not well enough). Don't get me wrong, it's good and I can see you're a good animator, but it's way overrated.

Enjoy the awards, though. Really :) Worth it for the laughs this gives.

I actually thought it'd be a real aristocrats joke, but it was better. Well done! :D

Google "the aristocrats joke" and you'll see why the ending to this was even more unexpected than you probably thought.

Why the hell did you play it if it clearly states "Excessive Nudity"? If you go to a site advertising porn, expect porn. Same applies here.

[2D Physics Tutorial]

Wonderful.

This is a marvellous tutorial and possibly the best I've ever seen on Newgrounds.

It has certainly helped me (although I can figure out a lot of the basic physics, I often don't use coefficients of friction and things like that which you have shown to make it a lot more realistic), so thank you for taking the time to make this :)

I have to tell you, this is probably one of the best (actually, the best) sad song I've heard on Newgrounds (except for maybe EvilDog's Sands of Time).

I think I'm probably going to use this on the next flash I'm doing in the introduction (since it's an apocalyptic sort of movie). [I may have to cut up the song though since it's a bit too long, hope you don't mind? Plus, I don't really work on the flash that much so it'll probably take a while to finish :P]

The melody is great, the piano backing is superb for giving the sad mood, and the vocals is a very, very nice touch. The only thing that I remotely didn't like is the techno-ring sound (if you have any idea what I'm talking about), and if I could remove it I would, because in my opinion it would sound better without it. (OMGWTFBBQ No flaming plz!)

*ahem*

I think I've said enough.
But yeah, definately downloading this track.
